The Hunt

Mike Macko, Southern Outdoors Unlimited (SOU) alligator coordinator, backs his truck and boat into a driveway to pick up Presley Turner, 19, for an alligator hunt in Tchula, Miss., on the first day of alligator hunting season, Aug. 30, 2024. Turner, who has a learning disability, got connected with SOU when she was around 14.
